ABOUT US
Ledyard Charter School is a public high school serving grades 9-12. We are located in the beautiful Upper Valley of New Hampshire. Established in 2009, this school was initially created to engage students who didn't quite fit into the traditional public high school mold. ACADEMICS
LCS offers students an innovative alternative to traditional public high school education. Our amazing staff are dedicated to the well-being and success of each student. Courses are taught using primarily experiential, project-based learning to enhance retention. We also partner with HACTC to offer students an opportunity for hands-on learning in a career they may be interested in pursuing.
PARENT RESOURCES
At LCS we believe a strong connection with family leads to a successful high school experience. Therefore, we have an open door policy for parents and caregivers. “At my old school I was so unhappy, I couldn’t learn the same way everyone else did. I had so much anger and didn’t know what to do with it. Coming to a new place was scary at first and it took me a while to realize I needed to change if I wanted a good life. I’m not angry anymore, It’s chill here. My teachers at LCS have seen me change a little bit day after day and they have been there for me through it all, they have faith in me. I am a whole new person now; my attitude has changed completely. I take responsibility for my actions now and speak to my teachers respectfully. In a way, this school is my family.”
